Here is an easy way to determine if it's a bs or fs trick. Picture riding past the rail or ledge. If the rail is behind you then it's backside. If the rail is in front of you then it's frontside.
take this trick for example if the dude was not to do the noseslide the ledge would be behind him as he rolled passed. hope that clears things up for you Matt.
